Directed by Tawny Chapman, Leverage Dance seeks to provide a professional-level experience for the maturing and art-minded pre-professional dancer. Comprised of dancers between the ages of 17 and 22 with a strong technical foundation, this group focuses on bringing the art of movement to the forefront through concert dance with a strong point of view. Through diverse repertory and an intense training program, the dancers are challenged to find a deeper kinetic understanding of the body while further developing their creativity and depth as artists. Leverage Dance is in residence at Impact Dance Center in Los Alamitos, California.
